I made Minecraft SIX times!
The 20 Games Challenge! » Devlog
This time, I ended up spinning off a whole mini-series! I made Minecraft using meshes and perlin noise, but I started wondering if there are better ways to use our modern tools when making an infinite terrain. So, that led me to part 2 where I turned Minecraft into a benchmark and tested multiple different chunk generation techniques to see what works and what doesn't. I'll be finishing this mini-series by comparing Godot V3 and Godot V4.
